Peter Roil established Kanuka in 2006 after 28 years as a builder and more recently a forest shareholder.
Peter has always been a passionate advocate of timber, as he says:
“Timber is great to work with, it’s renewable and creates such a warm environment to live or work in. All we’re doing here is taking a good natural product and turning it into a great natural product”
Kanuka has a proven history of providing effective structural and architectural product solutions for both the New Zealand domestic and export market. They are located in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay, with close proximity to Napier Port and local raw material sources.
